In short, I say to a whole day trip to Seward, Kenai Fjords. It would have been a great journey, is considered in a glacier.
Out of Seward, I saw whales, otters, dolphins, seals, mountain goats (on the hill above the ship) and thousands of puffins. And the actively calving glaciers.
In PWS, I saw many seals and seabirds and actively calving glaciers. But not ceataceans. Who may vary slightly from one street or overnight.
But Seward (in KF) provides a pleasant town in a very good (like Valdez), plus the shipping center is a modern aquarium is very well done. Valdez (for PWS), a major oil terminal.
